==Community Involvement and Legacy== In addition to his Masonic work, Jarvis was appointed the 24th Deacon of the Concord Congregational Society in 1812, a position he held until his death. He was also a trustee of the Ministerial Fund in 1813 and represented Concord in the General Court in 1817. In 1832, he acquired a farm, now owned by his son, Captain Francis Jarvis. Deacon Francis Jarvis passed away on October 1, 1840, at the age of 72, leaving behind a legacy of service to both his Lodge and community.
